Cheese: More than just a tasty snack

We know that the calcium in dairy products is beneficial to our bone health, but do you the other benefits of the regular consumption of dairy producets like cheese. The pH of the food and drinks that you consume affect how susceptible your teeth are to cavities. A dental research study looked at the effects of consuming different dairy products on the pH of a person’s mouth. It found that cheese helped the mouth maintain a baseline pH level, which in turn reduces the risk of tooth erosion.
