Best Smiles from Sochi Olympics

Posted on Feb 21, 2014

As an orthodontist, my job revolves around creating the best, healthiest smiles. I have worked with many young patients in Richmond & Coquitlam to get them wonderful smiles, and the confidence to succeed at everything. Though a report from Dr. Paul Piccininni, a Toronto dentist at International Olympics Committee, mentions that most athletes don’t take proper care of their oral health, here are some of the best smiles we’ve seen at the Olympics.

Invisalign Clear Braces Treatment Steps | Richmond & Coquitlam Invisalign Dentist

Posted on Feb 13, 2014

Invisalign is the most popular  orthodontic treatment in our Coquitlam and Richmond dental offices. Invisalign treatment requires wearing a set of aligners, making it more convenient than traditional braces. Here’s a full explanation of the steps involved in Invisalign treatment.

Step 1

Consultation with one of our orthodontists to find if Invisalign is the right treatment for you. This is usually a checkup.

Step 2

Our team will be creating a 3D image of your teeth using a patented Invisalign imaging technology. This helps you and us to identify the progress of the treatment.

Step 3

You will receive your first aligner. Good thing is that you can brush, eat and drink while wearing Invisalign aligners — that is, you can remove your aligners and enjoy your usual activities!

Step 4

You will receive new aligners every 2 weeks. You only need to come see us once in 6 weeks. Invisalign reduces patient visits and shortens visits, making life very convenient.

By this time your teeth should be perfectly straight. Now go ahead and enjoy life. Are you looking for a good Invisalign orthodontist to straighten your teeth?  Click here to call or book an appointment online today!
